I'm suffering from acute headaches and have issues with my ears (where my WG first appeared) which makes sleeping difficult without chemical assistance. Pain killers make no difference to me what so ever but I'm hoping my annual maintenance of Rituximab which I had a few weeks ago will kick in soon and quieten down what I believe to be a flare (despite no evidence in blood markers etc).

Is your pain just when you try to sleep or part of your overall situation?

Healthy wishes.

Is this a new sympton, are you reducing steriods; I know this probably isn't the answer you're looking for but it may help you in getting some p[ain relief if nothing else. I also have ear pain plus a hot ear - well it feels hot inside my head but the ear itself isn't! In February this year I had to reduce my daily Predisolone from 60Mg (I had been on it for 3 weeks) to 40mgs, within 4 days I started to experience ear pain as well as a hot ear; this is still on going. Unfortunately Addenbrooke's doesn't know what is causing it but they have put me on 30mg Amitriptyline at night plus I take Co-Codamol 30/500 x 2 at night along with Co-Codamol 8/500 during the day; at least I can sleep now.
