Can lower arm pain alone with no other symptoms be a CSS flare when a patient is already on Ritux?

Hi MarieLowe, I have CSS. Have you spoken to your patient's consultant or GP about the pain? If they are up to speed with vasculitis they should arrange for early blood samples. As your patient is in pain and you are unable to or can't wait to contact either, then I would suggest going to A&E (as I have done), making sure you take the last medical assessment letter with you. The letter should fast track you through A&E. It's better to have it checked out than wait. Derek.

Thank you for your reply. Luckily Steve has an appt at Addenbrookes this Fri so blood tests will be done then.

Steve's blood tests are fine, however the arm pain turns out to be tendonitis due to the steroids. He now has quite bad shoulder blade area pain which the doctors do not know what it is and have just given him cream to put on it. Does anyone else with Churgs suffer any shoulder pains I was wondering?
