Hi, I'm relatively new here as I'm still in the process of diagnosing MCAS. I really struggle with constant shortness of breath and a feeling of pressure on my lungs and am wondering what sort of medications and lifestyle changes other people have found helpful for that, or made that symptom completely go away?

Shortness Of Breath
Hiya!
Supps praps helped, breathing exercises definitely did (I prefer Wim Hof, but his is a challenge), most of all being outside in the fresh air or airing as much as I can. For some praps costochondritis exercises (youtube) might help breathing.
I go to a tai chi outdoor class . It helps
Hi. Have you had your iron levels checked as low iron can also cause shortness of breath. In addition, thyroid issues ( hypo) can also be a cause, should you happen to have a thyroid condition. I have both Hashimotos and MCAS and suffered for a long time with ‚air hunger‘.
I know that I have low iron but I can't find any supplements I can tolerate, then when I had an infusion it was too high so I think there's some sort of absorption issue going on, I'm not sure what to do about that though. I will look into my thyroid as I hadn't thought of that. Thank you for your comment
I toughht I had MCAS but i had heart test and have Aortic stenosis. So it really is my heart. I thought MCAS because I have had several patients with rapid heart beart but no, for me it is heat and serious.
