Mastocytosis and Mast Cell Diseases Awareness Day is coming on October 20th! We will be sharing a series of images that can be shared on social media to help others learn about our conditions-- and to help them understand how we are affected. The theme this year for the campaign is "Say What You Need". We (the International Awareness Day Committee) chose this them because we want to encourage people with mast cell diseases to speak up for what they need, both in everyday life and from doctors and healthcare systems. We will also share an image where you could add your own photo. You could hold a sign that says what you need (or just the sign saying what you need). That will take a bit of technical knowledge, so may not be for everyone : ). Today we will share two images about what people need from doctors and researchers!
