Hi all, I'm Jess, one of the moderators here, and have had indolent systemic mastocytosis for more than 30 years. Glad to welcome you here!

Hello all. I'm Kay and I have indolent systemic mastocytosis. I probably had urticaria pigmentosa for many years without knowing what it was but was diagnosed when my mastocytosis became systemic and started affecting my digestive tract about 6 years ago.

Hi Jazzsinger and welcome to this group. I'm not sure whether I'll be able to answer your questions myself but there is a good chance that someone here will be able to throw some light on your questions.

Hello from south london. I don’t have a Mast Cell Disease diagnosis but I have daily hives on my trunk, back, arms and legs. I have had allergy tests which were all negative and have been prescribed anti-histamines. I have found that I don’t get any hives as long as I don’t drink anything. I can go all day without an itch if I like, eating as much as I want (avoiding some known triggers), but one sip of water and I’ll break out.

The only mention that I can find of anyone with remotely similar symptoms mentioned MCAS, so I was interested to try and find out more about it. Thanks.
