Tourettes effect so many people, in so many ways. My own deals with my anger. Mainly because I get angry pretty easily. TS's effect on me is like a car running into a building. It has effected my relationships with loved ones and the apostate sex. I you would like to know more about how TS affects relationships please view my current vlog. youtube.com/watch?v=tnv77PH...

Hi Jerry, great to see you here, it's also nice tosee a US perspective as the vast majority of us here are brits. TS definately has an impact on your relationships, if you look at the popular tags on the right you'll see how many times that TS has been an issue within me and my partner's relationship. I wouldn't say that he misinterprates me, more that I can make more of a throw-away comment that he'd make whilst in a bad mood and I would dwell on it and it would turn into a bit of an issue, you know the saying "making a mountain out of a molehill". The main problem really is that although he likes to think he knows it all with regards to TS, he knows very little and tends to shy away from me in public and doesn't realise how tiring and painful the tics can be.

I understand very well how you feel. Mainly because my ex said I used my TS as an excuse. I mean of course TS can cause anger issues and it does to me. I could not help it and tried to explain to her but she exclaimed it was just an excuse. *sigh* I took it hard after her and I broke up. We grew up together, but the way it was she just wanted to use me.

Hello :) I've got anger issues as well. It's horrible isn't it. I wouldn't mind just having the tics so much.
