Please take a look at the link above and email or write to your local MP to call a halt to the Work Capability Assessment. The WCA is the harsh test that ATOS put you through to see if you are "fit -to-work" . The WCA is particularly harsh for those with mental health issues, ASD, AS and many other conditions. A friend of mine spent the summer in hospital as he has bi-polar, after 13 weeks on ESA he was deemed fit to work by ATOS despite what his Drs said and is now on JSA (Job Seekers Alowance) rather than ESA and concentrating on getting better. This is happening to hundreds of people up and down the country so I belive it's imperitive to write to your MP and let them know what you think.
