Tinnitan Duo 24

Hi there!

Was on holiday in Spain. Unfortunately had to have a visit to our local ED and we mentioned tinnitus. The emergency doc prescribed Tinnitan Duo 24 to try. We later found out you can just buy it.

I have researched it and there was some limited info it may help.

It does contain melatonin which is not available in the UK only if prescribed but can buy it in Spain over the counter. Will update in a few months time how it works.

I’ll be very interested to see your reactions to this in a few weeks.

Some years ago in the US i bought something similar - I don’t know what it was exactly but it had melatonin in it. Waste of dollars!

if it doesnt harm you then i think its worth a try even though it might be a placebo we are waiting and waiting for medical help which never seems to be forthcoming lots of money being wasted into research and i doubt some of this research is money well spent just a good way of getting money for not doing very much is my suspicion

Halen, there is actually a lot of research going on at the moment into bi sensory stimulation which seems quite hopeful. With research you never do know whether it is going to be a great result, or as you put it 'wasted' money. That's why it's research. Tinnitus has been hard to find people to research it, but I'm thankful for anyone who's trying.
