I am at the beginning of my journey and just read my results from scan 60% stenosis on carotid and I’ve been referred to surgeons. Not even sure why surgeons but it’s early days I’m guessing.
So I’ve been under ENT all my life, I’ve got bilateral conductive hearing loss Long standing right tympanic membrane perforation with long process of incus erosion and type 3 effect on stapes head. So when I started hearing a heartbeat one can only assume it’s just another issue with my ears and it will pass.
Now I’ve got this whooshing noise all the time now it just doesn’t stop. It’s like having a child screaming at me all day and all I get told is listen to white noise and relax!! How does that even work. I’m so stressed and I’ve never felt this low or stressed. It’s just so loud I’m struggling to even hear now because this is my good ear as I would call it. Please if someone has any tips or suggestions while I wait for ENT to get back to me.
