I have just received my appointment date for ENT, April 2024. I still waiting for Audiology Appointment to come through.
I noticed on my ENT appointment I was due to been seen at the Physio Balance clinic. My balance has only been affected twice, once in October and secondly in November when I had two attacks of vertigo. My balance is fine now (I hope I don’t jinx myself by saying that!). I am slightly concerned that my ears won’t be examined as the main problem is Tinnitus mainly in my left ear, sometimes in my right ear. I have emailed the hospital with my concerns and have asked if my ears could be examined. I’m worried in case I have been referred to the wrong clinic and I have mentioned that in my email.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
David, I see you are undergoing further tests and I wish you all the very best.
Thank you and Best wishes to everyone.

keep your physio appointment. Tinnitus can be caused by several things and although you may hear it in your ears, it can be caused by vascular abnormalities, a problem with the carotid artery ... you should be doing lots of research! Sounds like your health provider is starting by covering different possibilities for your T - which is good.
