I stopped drinking red wine (it took 7 -days ) and then only drinking white wine has really helped my T. I think it could be the tannings in red wine, and red wine being stronger makes red wine have more effect.
I note / read many say wine / alcohol make T worse. For me (and I read many others) it helps. However, wine in moderation.

interesting! I tend to drink white whine in the summer and red in the winter - though never more than my fourteen units a week. Unless I’m on holiday …….
And if and when I take two or three days off, or drink more, or white rather than red - no difference!
I visited a private hearing consultant (at cost) who made many recommendations in relation to alcohol/caffeine/gluten/lactose/diet - and to be honest none made any difference to me - but there then again my issue is hearing loss (they knew this) - although I found that making these changes didn't have any impacts on T with hearing aids out. Glad you've found some respite though.
I have always found that alcohol tends to reduce my tinnitus, although I am by no means a 'drinker'. The effect is fairly short-lived though. Alcohol seems to work differently for different people re tinnitus.
