Tinnutis and Bluetooth

I've had severe tinnutis for about 20yrsIn which time I've learned to cope with it.

But I have been Trying blue tooth hearing aids recently which at first I thought were brilliant ; being able to hear people's voices clearly and especially in a phone call ..

But the downside is my tinnutis has gone through the roof!

Has anyone out there had the same problem with Bluetooth aids ?

yes I have. Do you use it with the BE-MORE. App.? 6 hours a day is recommended. The downside for me is headaches & yes the Tinnitus gets worse. Have you tried resting, trying having a nap.? Keep a journal…

Good luck

Daniel.

Hi Lulu,

I have NHS Bluetooth HAs and I’ve never noticed them causing me a problem.

However, I am mainly using them to play Podcasts or music from my phone when it’s a very quiet area or taking phone calls.

Apart from those activities which are in the minority they are just used as standard HAs.

There is an ocean sound option I sometimes use too but less often than say a podcast.

To me someone talking to me is more distracting than music or the ocean noise.

Hope that helps

Best G

Still waiting for my NHS ones. Very long wait for the bluetooth ones . I agree with the podcasts. I have earphones with LBC constantly . I find that better than music or nature noises.

Not what you're looking for?
