I have been on this long term and I have found that my ringing is through the roof. I'm basically taking one 25mg and 3.75mg of zopiclone to sleep at night.
I haven't seen anyone speak about the tinnitus associated with this medicine. I'm a little concerned as I've probably been taking this medication for going on 3-4 years with zopiclone
Appreciate some feedback

your first port of could be your pharmacist as nearly all high street pharmacists are able to help with this sort of query, and indeed many of them do shifts at local hospitals where they advise the hospital docs.
I expect you have read all the details given with the medicine you’ve been prescribed.
Are you sure that the T has come on because of the medication? Tinnitus can have many causes and indeed no cause at all.
I am amazed you have been on zopiclone for that long but if you have been ok with it and it still makes you sleep and your doctor is ok with it then i can not say any more. I was on zopiclone for a short time and it saved me it allowed me to get some good sleep which at the time was impossible, because i was getting some sleep my tinnitus quietened down a bit and it did not make it any louder maybe because you have been on it a long time its possible it could be effecting it, that's just a guess. if i was you i would come off zopiclone,it will not be easy because you have been on it so long but you can do it, as for promethazine iv never taken that, i think its a over the counter tablet that can be bought so that might be easier to come off. I do not know what you feel about that, If you can sleep with out these tablets then give them up, a clear head is much better to deal with tinnitus, Tinnitus is a strange thing i do not understand it and iv spent a few years trying to figure it out. i do know that some medication can make it worse that's why i would recommend trying to come of what you are taking. All the best my friend i know exactly what you are going through its not easy.
I can only say that just over a year ago I tried zoplicone and whilst I did not suffer any spikes with the tinnitus I was not sleeping any better through taking zoplicone….maybe 2 hours max and then awake again
