hi everyone hope your all well usually when l have a spike 3 days and it usually goes back to a manageable level but is lasting over a week now not bothering me to much compared to past feeling but worried it won't go back to manageable level again anyone else experienced this 😕

Hi Sus

I think you've answered this one for yourself - you don't feel that bothered by the tinnitus, but you're concerned that it might not go back to normal. The last part of that idea is something which our anxieties love to grab onto - "What if it doesn't go back to how it was?". My response to that usually is something like this - "Yes, but what if it does?".

You have previous experience to judge from of tinnitus spiking and then seeming to reset - if it's possible, can you remember any of the circumstances around previous periods where the tinnitus has spiked and then gone back to normal?

I'm not saying that you should start to document periods where your tinnitus is elevated and keep records, but sometimes it helps us to be able to look back and say "My tinnitus was terrible in March - wasn't that when we had big deadlines at work and the car needed to be fixed?"

There's often something going on in the background of our lives - not exclusively related to tinnitus - which puts pressure on us, causes us a level of stress and our tinnitus adjusts to this change in our bodies and minds. It's kind of a barometer - if it's loud, or insistent, it can be our bodies' way of telling us to relax and look at ways to distract ourselves.

"This, too, shall pass" is a good way of phrasing it.

Hello! Try now mother tincture of Valeriana plant in the morning and Passinflower plant at night before sleep the effects are almost immediately. And add Magnesium L-Threonate (only this Magnesium works well with T.) and GABA but takes two weeks to take effects. I'm sure your T. will change for the better!!

GABA supplementation has been proven useless for anything. This is because when taken as a supplement, it cannot cross the blood brain barrier. Therefore, it does not help with sleep either, because it simply cannot be absorbed where it should.

I think you should read more before you say that. I'm sure you do whatever doctors tells you. And I'm sure all are really useless.

I forgot to say that Aminobutyric acid takes effect almost immediately, but you don,t have to take medicine for sleep!
