Had an appointment with the Dr about blood pressure but managed to switch avenues to T.Doctors have not got a clue with regards to T.She had a look and says "can not see nothing". Well you wouldn't would you as sounds can not be seen.Need help not stupid replies. Maybe one good thing she said she will write a letter to Audiology . Hopefully this will lead to a scan and a quicker response from ENT.

Dr Says she will write a letter
I think we’ve said before to you - don’t get your hopes up about referral. Chances are they will find nothing (which is good) and could be dismissive of your worries.
The National Institute for Clinical Evidence (NICE) publishes advice for doctors when their patients come along with problems. Over two years ago NICE published advice on what doctors should do about T but Covid came along at the same time so doctors might have missed the advice. Go to the NICE website and put “tinnitus” into their search box and you’ll find it, and it might help you with your conversations with the medics.
Nice work Mixedsalad It almost certainly will lead to a quicker appt. You just have to keep asking for what you need. I was told I'd get a letter for a hearing aid fitting. Not a whisper so I rang and they gave me an appt.
