My doctor has prescribed me trimethoprim for UTI. Is taking antibiotics generally safe for tinnitus or do I need to seek alternatives?

In your position, if I were worried, I would ask my pharmacist for the most up to date information.

Do not worry about this antibiotic I’ve taken it for urine infections a few times and it’s had no affect at all with my tinnitus. It’s vitally important to treat all urine infections .

Avoid Otomize. Trimethoprim should be ok and sorts out UTI's quickly in my experience
