interesting tinnitus/sleep addition

those on here longer recall my "extra sounds during the night, turned out to be Tinnitus other sounds"......

I have this whooshing sound, like the seashell on your ear, and often listen deeper. Very quietly is an odd sound, like it's whispering, but i cannot make out the words..

I often thought it may be that I hear voices from the other side. I can never know, but it is highly unlikely to be anything as wild as spirits. But i do find it fascinating, as i do suffer from a fear of dropping off to sleep. But trying to work out these sounds, suddeny i'm asleep. somno-phobia

Lovely way to send yourself to sleep, Spurdog. I reread your earlier post about waking up and listening to hums - and making sure you don’t wake the cat up - and had a little giggle.

It is, Happyrosie. This way you are using your tinnitus to your advantage, by using it against something else. I can't find my original comment otherwise i'd have linked it in. Distraction tactics.
