Orthodontics for vestibular migraine?

I have spent a couple of years dealing with worsening tinnitus, vertigo and sickness, after lots of tests and consultation I have been diagnosed with vestibular migraine. The various medications tried have helped but the side effects are almost as bad as the actual attacks.

My dentist has identified a significant cross bite on wide side, she has told me that orthodontics would improve my migraine, tinnitus and chronic mouth ulcer condition. This will take 2 to 3 years and cost around £2000. My GP is not convinced that this will work. I am nearly 65.

Does anyone have experience or knowledge on this please?
