Trying to get help

Today I sat by my phone all morning waiting for a phone call from wellwynd mental health nurse the phone did not ring out I miss the call this is the second time it's happened to me I waited all day no phone call I feel if though I'm getting punished my phone didn't ring out

How can we on this community help you? We’re all sufferers of Tinnitus. Can we give you guidance in any way? We’re not health professionals

I'm in a situation where I'm looking after my husband he's house bound I'm doing everything I don't have any time to sit and relax I don't even know what that means any more I can't concentrate it's like my adrenaline is always going thank you for replying to my post Happy Rosie stay safe and well ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Blademink you HAVE to look after yourself. Give yourself time. Go out for a walk. Listen to some music. Whatever you like. If you don’t look after yourself you can’t look after anyone else. Be kind to yourself

There is nothing more frustrating to me than waiting for a promised phone call or delivery that never arrives.

For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to re-arrange an appointment with my Audiologist, tried to get through on the phone 6 times last week and 5 times this week, yesterday I e-mailed them, within 5 mins got a return phone call and everything is sorted.

I'm glad I've been the same got wrong tubing for my hearing aids I'm still waiting thats been four weeks it is frustrating I hope I can get help hope you stay safe and well love clare ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Hi, I missed phone calls from the dermatologist, they sent a letter out instead so hopefully they will still be in touch, I did ring them back though and get the information.

I understand you need to care for your husband, I used to say to myself, "if the nurse gets sick, who's going to look after the patient"

Perhaps you could look into getting help for when you have to go to appointments, the doctors clinic may be able to advise on this. Keep safe xx

By the way, I've just had a phone call to cancel todays hearing aid fitting, having it done tomorrow as the person who was going to do it is off sick.

Hope all goes well with your hearing aid fitting I've given up I've tried to get help I just have to wait and see I've also got mental health problems to im still waiting and I've waited for two year's for to get help on that thank you for replying on my post love clare stay safe and well ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Hi Clare. The waiting is awful isn't it? I hope you and your husband both get the help you need.

We like to be kept informed so maybe give them a nudge just to say, hey I'm still here.

I also find getting help for your spouse can make you feel better, you could use the time to find out what's going on, or take a trip to the hairdressers.

Thank you I do keep my self busy most of the time I'm exhausted all the time it's a viscous circle I went to the hair dressers last week thank you so much for being there for me stay safe and well love clare ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
