Well I have had them for 2 weeks, they are not a cure but they are a great help, When I am out and about surrounded by ambient sounds I do not notice my tinnitus, I can now sit in the garden with the radio on and enjoy the day. I have had a white noise added but had no need to use it yet, they are very comfortable to wear.
When I remove them on an evening the screaming in my ears is once again obvious, and sleep is almost impossible, I have been told not to wear them in bed.
A tip, Bearing in mind they are worth about £1.000 a pair and I had them less than a week, I went to town shopping when I got off the bus and went to cross the road, to my horror they had disappeared, "It was a terrible feeling" what do I say to ENT?.
I went back to the bus stop and found one, the other one was 15 feet away, when I took off my mask it had catapulted them off. All's well that ends well.
I would recommend that if you are not sure, give them a try and as my Audiologist advised, the latest basic ones are just a good as the expensive ones.
