I have this in left ear but also have the clogged blocked feeling wet heavy ears mostly left
Think this is where the anxiety comes in as the ear kinda dips in hearing
Is this normal

Hi
Sounds very similair to my condition. The accompanying heavy sensation seems very common.

Could be due to fluid in ear and resulting change in pressure. Yes I was amazed to read that mood changes with tinnitus and each influences the other. It was a revelation. I get a sudden low feeling when the pressure builds and tinnitus gets louder...then it all subsides. Yes I think hearing issues and anxiety definitely feed off one another and it is difficult to pinpoint cause and affect...part of the whole process. It can be hard though - especially if you 'look well,' - it can be difficult for people to understand. Take care.
Exactly it’s a hidden thing personal to the person but also does not matter how many friends family you have you can feel extremely lonely in your noisy head 😢😡😢😡😢😡
Totally agree. I had to cancel something today due to vertigo and the couple were very understanding but someone else commented it could be caused by the heat. Some people can't retain information! Yes...good days, in between days and not so good days! Onwards and upwards 🧸
How did you get on with your MRI scan? Take care x

Ah. Good luck. Hope you get some answers. I'm ok thanks. Had a couple of what felt like big panic attacks/vertigo episodes recently ...sometimes hard to separate them.
I am trying to pre-empt them and take rests if I feel it coming on. That is definitely helping. Thanks
I have ‘wet ear’. Sometimes worse than others but stick a finger in with a tissue and it comes out wet. Doctor looked at me as though I was crazy.
Unless you've been swimming or had a shower, you could have a csf leak. Have a look at this page and see if any other symptoms apply to you.

GPs regularly miss csf leaks. They learn very little about it when training.
If your stomach can handle it, see if you can taste the fluid from an absolutely clean finger that's probed your ear. If it tastes salty, looks clear and feels watery, it could be csf.
If you think this might apply to you, go back to your GP and ask for a referral to a skull base ENT surgeon.
I have the same sensation. I thought my ears needed cleaning but when I went to get them syringed they were clear. The whole episode is very concerning. I suffer at night when I wake up at the same time with ringing in my ears.
