Tinnitus and balance

Hi I've had tinnitus in one ear since a teenager and cope with it fine. I've been checked out with a scan for growths and all clear.

Does anyone else feel giddy if they turn their head suddenly? I've always put this down to tinnitus.

I have T and also sometimes giddiness. I don’t find the two connected myself but I’m not a medical professional

You should Google BPPV. it’s possible you have benign positional vertigo. Are you just dizzy when you move you head or does the room spin? Anyway look up BPPV. It’s usually easy to fix with something called the Epley Maneuver.

Yes. I agree. If you have BPPV .. the epley manoeuver is effective. I used to have queasy / dizzy spells but the EM has helped a great deal. Even if you just do it yourself at home. Tilt head back . Roll round each way several times. Worth a try.
