We've long thought of tinnitus as being a symptom - based on the evidence that we had to draw from. A newly published paper in the JAMA medical journal indicates more links to neurological origins for tinnitus than we've ever been aware of previously.

Nic, our website editor, has written a story on this today - with a link to a talk on the subject at our online conference, which runs from 5 - 9 October this year.
