Support my wife and father with Tinnitus

Is there anything that can make affects a little less annoying/debilitating? My Dad now struggles to take phone calls as he has problems hearing the conversation. Is there music or sound track to give him some rest bite?

Background noise helps me, although I don't bother at home. Best example I can give is when we go to Barbados, by the sea, constant moderate wind, 24/7 sound of sea and breaking waves. I totally forget my tinnitus whilst there, it's heaven in that sense.

I have looked at sound generators to do similar at home with wave, rustling leaves, running stream etc, but not done anything about it yet as I am coping.

I find cordless phones hard to use, better with corded. There always seems to be background crackles and whatever with hands-free versions. I read an article recently that said none of the 10 cordless phones they tested were much good sound-wise.

Hello

Yes there is a very good sound app on YouTube called ( the most powerful sound therapy for tinnitus) it takes the tinnitus out of your head and is brilliant at masking it i play it from my phone to a Bluetooth speaker I have 2 upstairs and downstairs so my house has become a tinnitus freezone..

Good luck and best wishes to your wife and father at this difficult time x
