is melatonin worth giving it a try was thinking asking gp for some

I take 10mg of melatonin sometimes 20mg, and 20mg of amitriptyline every night and it definitely helps me. I get mine from the US as I understood you cant get it on prescription in the UK.

As WTBmrBlonde suggests, Melatonin isn't widely available in the UK - it's solely on prescription for people over 55 experiencing ongoing insomnia problems.

Hi Safman .. yes it does work for me .. I take 4 mgs at night and it does help . This notice was 2 months ago so you probably tried it by now !
