i think its crazy that people think and are told that doctors are your best and only option to help and fix or restore health

everyone of them have read the same text book, whether it has proved successful or not, will just regurgitate the same failures to the next patient.

I've had a very bad experience with GPs too.

Some GPs are excellent, most are OK, the rest...………. are truly in the wrong job!

doctors only seem to look at the body in a chemical way, the body is not chemical....chemicals block nerves in the body....we need them opened again

Have to agree with you. I go to my ophthalmic optician for anything eye related, my dentist for mouth issues, my podiatrist for feet, a physio for body problems and my GP as a very last resort - it took three weeks to get my last appointment with the doctor of my choice. No chance of getting to see my named doctor. That would be like finding the Holy Grail. I’ve never had so little confidence in doctors as I have now.

I thought it was just me but I was in a coffee shop last week and overheard a group of women talking about their doctors, dismissive was the word that cropped up several times - one lady had been with her mother and said the mother’s doctor had been very dismissive of her. Then the others joined in. So it would appear that it isn’t just me.

Hi, i totally agree with you ,in my opinion this days doctors don't even care about patients, health care became a business especially in US ,you see a new hospital an every corner or spot next to highway like gas stations , it's like everyone here is sick and if you're not go to physical exam and they find something and you get a prescription and next thing you know you have some side effects, and you go back and they give you something else .My dr . if I complain that I'm tired and don't sleep that was five years back she was trying to give me antidepressants would not care to check my bloodwork to see if I'm missing any important vitamins that could be the the reason In US dr they are not supposed to spend more than 15 min with you ,they get money for every medication they give you from the pharmaceutical industries and if you go back and of my symptoms.I told my dr that the SSRI and benzodiazepines that she prescribed gave me tinnitus in the head she practically call me crazy. At the advice of my dr. five years ago I had a mammogram , big mistake they squeeze the crap out of my breast and then I felt something like a small lump went back to my dr to complain and she want to send me to take another mammogram but refused and send me to ultrasound ,but being a big business here they would not give me a ultrasound before another mammogram so they could charge the insurance more, stupid of me i did it and my small lump turned in to bigger one and it was the size of a coffee bean and now 4 years latter is the 7 cm by 5 and i go back for ultrasounds because it also hurts and firmly reffuse a mammogram , told them that i should sue them.

Doctors just don’t seem to take this sort thing seriously. I’ve had some sort infection in glands round head which has happened before and usually I wait for it run the course. This last time I got ear infections and one sorted self out but one ear was so painful with lumps and redness behind and in front almost on face. Was told lumps separate issue and doc gave me spray which didn’t use then eventually went again and given specific antibiotics as was having chest pain which was suspect secondary infection. I think the infection finally gone but am still totally deaf in one ear with enhanced tinnitus as have always had but this is another level. Not life or death I know but already had hearing loss and now am finding hard to make out speech without great concentration. I felt like was poo pooed so ended with 2 perforated eardrums and am hoping this is gonna calm down and get back to norm. I certainly felt as though this was causing doctor to roll eyes and no consideration given. Like it was run of mill but never less it’s not a pleasant thing and proper treatment was delayed as treated like your wasting time with something on the level of a cold. Glad am not the only one experiencing such response from so called professional. I didn’t even know had hearing loss and thought the noise was the norm as was never tested. When realised summat was not right as young adult I was fobbed off every time I mentioned and my go surgery. Yep finding a good audio or specialist seems the way to go as have lost all faith in gp
