My tinnitus which I’ve had for years is really bad at moment. Constant ringing and loud and just wondered if anyone had any good tips or advice? I’ve seen the videos on you tube of rubbing ears, tapping behind ears etc but hasn’t done anything for me
Any help or advice is appreciated
Thanks

As previously posted, my personal approach to coping is regular long walks, pushing for the quickest pace possible. Get uncomfortably hot and sweaty, back and knees ache, T is still there but is not prioritising itself anything like as much.
Thanks for the reply 👍🏻 I got a Fitbit for Christmas so have been walking more which I’ve enjoyed. Hopefully it’ll start to work. I have been busy with work so maybe that triggers it as well. So frustrating as would just love some peace!
Definitely going out for walks will help as sounds of nature will distract you from your tinnitus. I try to do this daily. Tinnitus doesn’t calm down but it’s nice not to be fully aware of it while enjoying a walk and thinking of other things as I go along my routes.
Agree. I try and walk as much as I can and even have rain sounds on when trying to sleep as the ringing is so loud otherwise it does my head in! Thanks for your reply
