Tinnitus ringing in my right ear only

i had a ear infection like around April 29th also had vertigo, and ear pain, then on 30th i started hearing ringing in my right ear, went to the doctor, treated it now I think my ear infection have cleared up, everything is back to normal,i am back to work but i still have the ringing in my right ear, where i had the infection, please i just hope its not permanent because its annoying, i don't feel any pain at all, its just the ringing in my right ear only
