Hi iam. Rob in England is thare no divice that you can buy or hire in England to helping with your tinnitus sure thare must be something to help us this has been a problem going on for many years you think by now thare would be a cure do you have meetings that us who suffering can talk to outhers thanks

Hi Robert, I use White noise generators in both ears, they are like hearing aids. These emit low, natural sounds in both ears. you can regulate the pitch of the sounds going into your ears, but the sound should be slightly lower that the T. noise. I was advised to use them when I went to see my audiologist. The audiologist 'tune' the generators on a machine.

I have been using them for two year and have really helped. They don't get rid of the T noise, but have helped me cope.

I use an mp3 player it distracts the brain I even use while watching TV good luck

Go to you doctor and get him to send you to a nhs audioligist they have masking devises I have one called oticon tinnitus sound support
