Following on from the previous post, I realise the way i manage Tinnitus is based on my own experience and what works for me. At work I usually imagine I am creating a distance between me and the sound, I am often at times in the day, aware of it but its in the background and by visualising some space between my external world and the sound , and saying to myself 'ok I am going to concentrate on this task , really does help me to concentrate on anything I am engaged in. This has taken practice but has worked for me.
