Injury caused Pulsing Whoosh in Ear

Hi, about two weeks ago I passed out and awoke on the cement floor of the hallway. It was irregular fainting for me- I have POTS and have signals from my body that I'm about to black out like darkening tunnel vision, etc. This was just as if I was watching myself falling limp as if I was in the ceiling. Ever since, I've had this terrible whooshing in my right ear, louder and louder, pulsitive in nature, and now I can FEEL it- pressure and maybe pain? Also my hand have become weak and tremble. Background: Disabled with Ehlers Danlos 1 +3 (hEDS), POTS, autonomic dysfuction, chronic migraine, IBS, MCAS, and a dozen other illnesses that stem from those. I can't sleep the thumping and whooshing is so loud HELP.

Hello and welcome to the British Tinnitus Association forum. Tinnitus can sometimes be triggered by changes in blood flow, and this might have been what's happened here. Have you seen your doctor since you passed out? I think it would be a good idea to go and speak to them if not.

We have some resources that you might like to check out in addition to our home here:
