This week, the British Tinnitus Association is raising awareness of it's tinnitus e-learning resource, Take on Tinnitus, in the hope that we can make more people aware of this resource. We'd love to know if you have tried it, and what you thought. If you have any feedback and can spare a few moments to let us know, we'd love to hear from you by email to dave@tinnitus.org.uk
If you haven't used the site yet, please go to takeontinnitus.co.uk and have a look, try it out and see what you think. The site is available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week and is completely free to use.
When my tinnitus first started I did a lot of searching on the Internet (like most folks probably do) and came across the BTA and take on tinnitus sites at the same time. As I recall, there was a recommendation on the BTA site to try the take on tinnitus site first. I duly signed up and went through the modules about once or twice a week. I found them and the video clips very helpful in understanding what was happening to me. It was a good introduction put together in bite-sized chunks.
For me, it was the first stepping stone in learning how to manage this condition.
Once I had gone through all the modules, I then joined the BTA feeling confident I could trust the advice on the web pages and publications.
