I put this audio/video together where I talk about tinnitus and fear. Fear has played a big role in my journey with tinnitus but I am learning to work with it.
Please don't let the word fear stop you from listening, it's not scary.
Thanks for your words of wisdom... I must have a mimular noise to you as the only thing that really helps is crickets and I too can fall asleep. I have been on a journey and have had to retrain my brain to get to ‘like’ the noise and not free it. I had CBT and have to say this was brilliant and after 10 sessions everything changed, I changed and definitely felt more in control.
4 years... it came on after a session with a physiotherapist. I also have pain and nerve issues so not just tinnitus (mostly pulsatile tinnitus). Have had lots of investigations though and recently an operation as had many symptoms that related to eagles syndrome. Some symptoms have gone but not the T!!! I also go to a massage therapist specialising in necks and that has helped a lot.
