I was referred for acupuncture by my doctor who said it works to lessen symptoms about 70% of the time. I have been to 3 acupuncturists. It was relaxing and helped with stress levels but did not really help the tinnitus for me. One of the acupuncturists was from China and trained there. After multiple treatments she told me tinnitus is a difficult condition to treat and may not respond to acupuncture.

But - give it a go! My doctor says he has seen it help people. Better to try something. Good luck!
