My mum got admitted into hospital and critically ill with pneumonia, fluid in the lungs and a stroke but has had a heart attack in hospital, kidney not functioning right,on oxygen, carnt eat or drink and not responding to medication.
Sunday started a new medication but so far not responding.
The consultant will be talking with me again Thursday and at this point if not responding to treatment we face the consultants decision to stop treatment and let her pass away .
I'm off work on compassionate leave and at her bedside day and night.
Im intouch with Nic Wray and the rest of the team.
I will let you know what happens when we know more but for now it's a emotional time for all the family and praying for a miracle..
Oh Glynis, so sorry to read this. From what you say it doesn't sound good. Thinking of you and your family at this time. Don't give up hope though, miracles do happen.
So sorry to read this we are all praying for you and your mum, you're in our thoughts.
Hugs from Norfolk

I have just got off the phone with Glynis and sadly, her news was not good. Glynis's mum passed away earlier this afternoon. Glynis was with her at the end.
I am sure you will all be joining me in sending Glynis good wishes and kind thoughts at this very sad time.
Dear Glynis. I am so very sorry to hear your news and I just want to send you a massive virtual hug. It is awful when you lose a parent and my heart goes out to you. Take care. Love and hugs. Luverly Lucie xx
Sorry to hear the sad news Glynis. Difficult time for you and your family. Losing a parent is something we all go through and I'm sure there's a few on here who know just how you're feeling right now. It's good you were with her at the end. I wasn't able to be there when my mum passed away and I've always felt bad about that.
Hi Glynis, I am now back from a holiday and catching up with forum friends. I was obviously pleased to see you back on this forum, but sad to hear about your mum's passing. You were with her, as I was with my mum and dad, which is a special time to help them cross into heaven and be reunited for ever with their loved ones. Love and very best wishes, Angela xx
Glynis, Im so sorry to hear your sad news. I myself and my family were in tge same situation with my mum. The itu consultant had to tell us there was nothing more they could do for her but they did give us a chance to keep her on the ventilator for a few more days to see if this made a difference. Sadly it didnt though and we had to agree for them to stop treatment. That was the hardest thing Ive ever had to do and felt completely and utterly devasted. But when the time came, she passed away peaceful and with dignity and pain free. Which was a blessing. It is such a hard position to be in so i do empathise with you. Preying your story will have a different outcome.
Sorry glynis, ive just read Nics post. So sorry to hear your mums passed away but in time you will be grateful you were with her at the end. My sincere condolences to you. Xxx
