Night sounds

Good morning all, does anyone else have trouble with playing sounds overnight? Whatever I try to play overnight seems to make my tinnitus spike. I'll start to doze off but then jolt awake to my tinnitus going nuts and head pressure then I can't get to sleep at all.

I've tried white noise, pink noise, blue noise, nature sounds, crashing waves, rainfall, both through headphones and a bedside speaker.

I keep reading about how having sounds playing overnight is really helpful but not for me it seems -Bev x

Hi I cant listen to any of those when trying to sleep either. What I find helps me is relaxation

music that I have found on You tube. Hope that helps.

Glad it's not just me then (or not but you know what I mean) I can't really hear much without my hearing aids in anyway, maybe my ears are straining too much to hear, maybe that's the problem? Relaxation is the way forward - Bev x

My hearing is ok, but when I have my music on it is at a very low level, so its more in the background. Just music with chords.

It helps during the night. Some last for 8 hours on You Tube, but often seem to finish earlier, then I wake up, in the middle of the night, so now I am putting it onto my mp3 player and just repeating it all night. All the best.
