Ive just finished reading the shardlike series by c j sansom and really enjoyed them despite it being set in henry the eights era. Ive only recently been trying different types of books aswould normally read fantasy novels, just goes to show how much your tastes changes as you get older! Ive also got the latest one of Antonia Hogson to read next. Im a bit of a bookworm and if Id kept all the books Ive ever read, Id need a house by itself, to keep them in. I do pass them on to charity shops but have always kept my favorites. Love lesley x

I'm reading a pre-release copy of Mick Herron's new book, Spook Street. I'm lucky enough to get books to review for Amazon, and I found this guy through them. It's a spy thriller - but the spies are ones that have been bumped to one side for various reasons, and are left doing tedious make work in the hope they'll leave the service. HOwever, they get caught up in major stuff, so it's gripping and tense reading, and very funny at times too - it's a bit like crossing Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy with James Bond and Life on Mars.
Next up is some non-fiction - the story of Lenin's return to Russia on the sealed train, which precipitated the Russian revolution.
