Hello to all. I'm interested to hear from those who suffer from other problems as well as tinnitus, mainly to find out how they cope! I have Meneires disease, arthritis, and fibromyalgia so life can be difficult at times, but I keep going!

Welcome to our friendly community CID, you have a lot going on .... I can't add any more to what Glynis has said but I know that over the past 18 months or more she and others have been a great support. I got T from having anaesthetic for major op. I have aids for mild hearing loss and maskers. I use a sound oasis machine at bedtime which I leave on all night. Angela xx

Hi Cid, I`ve had pulsatile tinnitus plus other noises since October 2014 and have lost about 50% of my hearing.

I also have narrow angle glaucoma and since 1994 have had various treatments for it and for the last six years have been using drops to keep the pressures down. I`m now awaiting an appointment from the Eye Clinic because my optician thinks I have a problem with my macula.

I can honestly say that tinnitus was probably the worst health experience I have gone through but I`ve become a stronger person because of it. I am at a point now and I never thought I would ever get to this, where most of the time it doesn`t bother me.

You obviously have a lot to contend with but as you say - you keep going. You seem like a strong person. Any time you feel down this forum is a good place to come and you`ll get good support. Love Lynne xx

Thanks to all for your replies. I'm often up and down mood wise and lately more down than up which of course makes the tinnitus worse. Yes it is always nice to talk to people who know what you are going thru so thank you again.

I have psoriasis, and it was the medication for this that gave me tinnitus several years ago.
