this might sound like a daft question time, but as i have a never really thought about it until now, would i have to inform the DVLA that i have hypothyroidism? I know people that have conditions such epilepsy or diabetes have to so was just wondering. I've only got a provisional and i was worried that if i had to inform them would i be stopped from driving.
Another question has crossed mind there seem to be people on this site that have hypothroid and problems with their andrenal glands how do you know if you have a problem with them?

The best way to know about adrenals is to get a saliva cortisol test, which you have to do privately as the NHS don't do it. You could ask for a random cortisol test first thing in the morning on the NHS, bearing in mind that you would normally want your cortisol to be near the top of the range first thing in the morning. Here's a link to where you can order the saliva cortisol test if you are interested.
There are tests that you can do at home that might give you an idea whether investigating your adrenals would be a good idea and there are lists of symptoms that might help you decide. Try these links for further information.
