First Wave of Clinical Commissioning Groups

Local clinicians have been given the green light to take control of the NHS budget in 34 areas of the country, the new independent NHS Commissioning Board announced today. The NHS Commissioning Board has authorised 34 new organisations – called clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) – to commission healthcare services for their communities.

I do wonder when they were trained in accountancy or will they hire one at what cost. If they are doing the budget themselves obviously they won't be seeing as many patients. Huh!!!!
