I have to see doctor today due to how I have been feeling on the increased dose of levithyroxine to 100 mcg .all I know is that my thyroid levels have come down on the high dose she said on the phone and that the increased dose has worked .but I physically and emotionally cannot cope with the high dose and want to say this to her .if my thyroid levels are normal can I come down to 75 mcg now if she keeps an eye on bloods

Personally, I would trial a 12.5mcg reduction to 87.5mcg in the first instance. I’ve found low and slow adjustments, either increases or decreases, work best for me physically and mentally.
new GP bloods will not give a reliable picture because you have not been on 100mcg for long enough . so don't put too much faith in them .
for reliable thyroid blood tests you need to have been on a stable dose for 6 wks.
,based purely on how you feel at the moment you can either decide stay on 100mcg until you have been on that dose for 6 weeks and then asses how you feel at that point and do a blood test (tests done before that point are not much use at all, and it's not long enough for the body to get used to the new dose )
or.
if you decide you can't handle staying on 100mcg any longer , reduce to 87.5mcg (by taking 75/100mcg on alternate days) , BUT you will then need to stay on that dose for 6 weeks , then test.
going back to 75mcg is probably pointless (unless you felt good on 75mcg ?)
Can you remind us of the results/ symptoms that led GP to increase dose to 100mcg , to save people having to look through old posts ?
Why not try an adjustment i.e. 100 levo 4 days and 75 Levo 3 days. This would work out at around 89 Levo per day. Or 3 days on 100 and 4 on 75 Levo making about 86 per day. Many people do this to get the correct dose.
