50mcg levothyroxine

hi can you help I started levo on 3rd April and have noticed rapid heart beat increase s it normal 🤔

which brand of levothyroxine have you started on?

Did you initially start on 25mcg for few days, before increasing to 50mcg

Or have you tried splitting the dose ….taking half in morning and half at bedtime or mid afternoon

Very common to initially notice changes in heart rate, temperature etc

This should settle as your body gets use to increasing metabolism

Hi SlowDragon thank you for responding, the brand -it says levothyroxine sodium . First day did 25 in morn and 25 night the 50 . Don’t like the feeling does it take while to settle ? 🥰
