I seem to have developed really sore joints especially in my arms
my wrists, elbows and shoulders hurt constantly and I have also lost mobility in my left shoulder, causing a really Sharp pain doing the basic of movements
I have struggled getting consistent thyroid meds and wondered if this is a potential side effect? I have hashimoto
I have generally found TEVA a good brand but my chemist thinks this is strange and the majority of people like the loose tablets. My current dose is 112.5 mcg 100 & 12.5
I have seen TEVA have had issues with the 100 dose
My GP is pretty shit at understanding my requests for tablets so I wondered if anyone else has experienced the above and can offer some help?
thanks

Have you considered frozen shoulder? If you have thyroid disease you're at higher risk of suffering it (the NHS website doesn't tell you this if I remember correctly, but pretty much every other website does, and the physio also told me that).
I've got this (also in my left shoulder like you). I'm coming up to a year into it, have tried pain relief, physio and a steroid injection. The worst of the pain has gone, but I'm still left with mild pain and very restricted movement.
I've been referred to orthopaedics, and been offered either dilation or surgery, so am trying the dilation first.
Can you share your most recent thyroid blood test results ChrisW2609. In addition, it’s good to know ferritin, folate, B12 & vit D, as these support thyroid health. Aches & pains can worsen if thyroid meds/ vitamins need adjusting.
I would start a new post to alert members to these readings, as I do not have knowledge on liver tests. TSH should always be under 2, so an increase in thyroid medication is needed. Please do add ranges in brackets after results as these can vary between laboratories when you repost.
I been dealing with dreadful shoulder muscle pains for months so bad my hands fall asleep and sometimes I can’t lift my arm and the exhaustion of just brushing my hair is horrible ….. My left arm has decided to join in occasionally to make sure that my right arm doesn’t have all the fun … I think mine is from my PSA with maybe a hint of thyroid but Im not sure and hell neither is my doctors …. Sorry your having trouble no answer sadly.
