Forgetting levothyroxine dose

I can't remember if I've taken my morning 100mcg dose of levothyroxine. I normally have a pill box but been on holiday and not filled it . Do I risk double dosing or risk not taking it at all?

Do not worry - T4 is a storage prohormone and basically inert - I've read of people taking a week's worth of T4 - Levothyroxine tablets in one go ;

Not suggesting you follow suit but if you feel anxious just chop the 1 tablet into 2 and take it over the next couple of days with your intended daily dose.,

I’ve done this in the early days, it doesn’t seem to make a massive difference if it’s only once. I agree spread the dose if you are worried. I now put the dose in a tiny pot and if it’s empty I’ve had it. Being away really messes with routines. Enjoy your trip 😊🌱
