Folate - This link contains recommendations for the best forms of folate to take :

chriskresser.com/folate-vs-...

Personally I take methylfolate. It is only safe to take this (or any other folate/folic acid supplement) when B12 is well above the bottom of the range.

I take a B Complex daily, but it doesn't keep my folate and B12 levels high enough for my liking, so I take a separate methylfolate supplement and a separate methycobalamin supplement 3 or 4 days a week.

I don't have a specific brand I use for either methylcobalamin or methylfolate. On the day I order I go mainly by price.

Ferritin i.e. iron stores...

For info on iron supplements see this reply written for another member :

I think there has been an increase in the number of ferritin supplements available in the UK. I've never taken them personally, but apparently they can increase iron while causing few or no side effects. It might be worth investigating them.

Can you take Folate and B12 together. There are drops on Amazon, but wasn’t sure if they go together?

Can you take Folate and B12 together.

If your B12 isn't bumping along the bottom of the range then I would say yes, you could take them together.

The danger comes from taking folate when you don't have enough B12 at the time you start taking folate. This could happen

So we always suggest taking some B12 for a few days or a week before starting folate, then start taking them both.
