Can someone please let me know timings for medication the day before blood test. I’m taking 1 grain of Armour around 6:30 am and half between 2 and 3 pm.

Thank you so much in anticipation 🥰

It depends on the time of your blood test.

NDT shouild be split into 2 or 3 doses the day before and last part of the dose 8-12 hours before blood draw. So if blood draw is 9am then last part of day before's dose is betweeen 9pm and 1am.

it’s a medichecks test and thinking of doing it at 8 am. So I take my afternoon dose later than usual . Is that right ? Sorry if I sound dopey but I want to get it right as I think I need an increase.

Thanks for the help I couldn’t cope with all this without it. 🥰

Yes. Last dose should be 8-12 hours before blood draw so you alter the time the day before and this avoids any false high or false low thyroid hormone results.
