folate before a blood test

I know it is best to stop B compounds before a blood test, what about folate and vit D+K?

No, it's biotin that needs to be avoided which will be in your B Complex. The others you can continue up to and including the day before. Take after the test on the day.

If you are having anything tested that is iron-related i.e. an iron panel or ferritin, then give up any supplements containing iron for 5 - 7 days before the test. Also, don't eat masses of meat or anything which contains lots of iron for 5 - 7 days, IF this is unusual for you.
