It doesn't seem to be. UK GP's go on mostly TSH alone. 😐

Dose is best when you dose with the dose that makes you feel the very best . You need what you need. This is the very best advice of this Great forum that I read several times.

I can't dose according to my weight, makes me ill. Less makes me feel better. I'm overweight.

I’ve been both, at a healthy weight and overweight, and my dose was never adjusted because of the scale. So, my guess would be probably not.

My 125mcg Thyroxine dose was unchanged for over a decade, but after losing 3 stones in weight last year my dose had to be dropped to 100mcg and stayed the same after a further 6 month test so maybe it does.
