Accord levothyroxine - can I split tablets

These seem to suit me but only do two strengths, 50 and 100. Is it okay to split them, I’m on 50 at present and expect to have an increased strength in due course. I’d prefer not to have another brand change. Has anyone done this successfully. The 50s have a cut line on them. Thanks folk for assisting me through my first 8weeks.

Yes it’s fine, I just break them in half.

That's the brand I have in both those doses. I split my 50s to give me a lower dose and have no problems. I use a pill cutter others use a sharp craft scalpel and some people manage successfully to break them with their fingers (which I've never managed to do, I end up with odd halves and crumbs).

Thanks for that. Yes I’ve got a pill cutter. I’m loathe to change brands if it can be avoided.
