Extreme fatigue

Have had a nightmare the past month. Increased Armour dose ended up hyper and felt awful. I went from 1 1/2 grains now back down to 3/4 and 1 grain alternate days.

It is the fatigue, all day I have extreme crippling fatigue. I can not work out if the thyroid fluctuations would be causing this. Has anyone else experienced this? Also the body aches are really really bad. I can hardly move or walk.

I wake at 5:30am by 9am I am ready to go back to sleep and the whole day and evening I am having to try and keep myself awake. I have children so obviously can not sleep during the day at all.

Ajva because Armour contains T3 you cannot take different amounts on alternate days. You need to take the same amount at around the same time each day. That is how the body needs T3 - otherwise you risk making things worse.

I didn’t know that. Thank you. My Dr actually said go down to 1/4 grain and build back up again but I didn’t want to do that. I will stick with my 1 grain each day.

Why not take 1/2 grain early morning and another 1/2 in the afternoon. Then you could increase by 1/4 grain morning etc until you feel better. I have only taken armour once during the covid because I ran our of thyroid s. I never got on with it, but many people do. I have no thyroid and takea total of 2.25 grains every day split into two doses.

Yes I already split my doses 1/2 grain pm and 1/2 grain before bed. I have too many other pills to take in the morning so can’t take first thing.

Hope you don’t mind me asking but why didn’t you get on with it?
